2025: Celebrating a Year of Giving Back
/ December 02, 2025
As we look back on 2025, we’re filled with gratitude for the community that makes Colored Organics so special. Every milestone, collection launch, and Give Back partnership was made possible because of you. From the first days of January to the final moments of December, our mission to create soft, sustainable essentials became intertwined with something even more meaningful: the communities we serve and the families who inspire us every day.
Thanks to you, we were able to lift others up, expand our collections, welcome new team members, and celebrate moments that strengthened both our brand and our purpose. Here’s the story of the year we created together.

The year began with impact. In January, our give back supported the TB1Fund and their work funding the new TB1F Rehab Center at M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minnesota. Knowing that our community played a part in helping patients regain strength and mobility set a powerful tone for the year ahead. Around the same time, we brought softness into the nursery with the launch of our KENDI Crib Sheets, expanding one of our most beloved collections.

Winter naturally unfolded into February's partnership with Greater Twin Cities United Way, an organization dedicated to investing in solutions that address household stability, educational success, and economic opportunity regardless of income, race or place. Behind the scenes, our first photoshoot of the year and the launch of our Spring and Summer Basics gave us a sense of creativity and momentum, a signal that something special was building.

By March, that energy had fully arrived. Our give back with Cradles to Crayons perfectly aligned with our mission of ensuring every child has what they need to feel comfortable and cared for. Meanwhile, the Capri Collection began to debut, introducing warm-weather textures like Waffle, Pointelle, Seersucker, and Muslin. Spring was blooming at CO, not just in product launches, but in purpose.

April deepened that sense of purpose. Our partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation helped support childhood cancer research while providing comfort to families facing unimaginable challenges. April was also one of our most vibrant months creatively, with new textures like Chambray, Interlock Parts 1 and 2, French Terry, and Rib expanding our spring offerings. These drops represented craftsmanship, care, and a growing excitement for the seasons ahead.
A standout moment came with Student Day. Welcoming six young women into our office to explore design, logistics, marketing, and customer service reminded us that our impact extends beyond clothing. It reaches the next generation of leaders, creatives, and changemakers.

May carried this momentum forward with a give back supporting Moms for Moms, an organization that provides essential postpartum support to single mothers navigating the challenges of parenthood without a support system. We also closed out the Capri Collection with Interlock Part 3, bringing a season of color and creativity to a beautiful close.

June always feels like a fresh chapter at CO, and this year was no exception. Our give back supported Boys and Girls Clubs of America, creating safe and encouraging spaces for young people. Internally, we welcomed Sienna, our summer intern whose curiosity and energy brought new life to our office. It was also the month we launched SMS messaging, giving us a more direct way to connect with our community.

July strengthened that connection. Our give back to ShareBaby supported families with essential supplies and diapers, while our annual Sample Sale brought together Minneapolis families, longtime customers, and new friends. Seeing little ones run around in their favorite CO pieces and hearing stories about what our brand means to families gave us a renewed sense of purpose.

By August, inspiration was everywhere. Brown Boys Benefit became our give back partner for the month, a Minnesota-based nonprofit dedicated to helping families with premature babies in the NICU. Through this partnership, we donated organic bodysuits to support families during their NICU journeys and bring a little extra comfort to their babies. Creatively, the Stripe Collection launch and the arrival of Waffle and Pointelle in the 2025 Autumn and Winter Aspen Collection made August one of our busiest months. Photoshoots, planning, and product development filled our days, the kind of busy that fuels us.

September represented a meaningful turning point. Our give back with Room to Grow supported families raising babies born into low-income circumstances. At the same time, the Aspen Collection continued expanding with Interlock: Part 1, Poplin, Corduroy, Flannel, and Rib textures. Fall coziness truly arrived.
This month, we celebrated something incredibly special. Colored Organics turned 11. Eleven years of growth, community, creativity, and heart. Eleven years of soft, sustainable clothing that gives back. Eleven years made possible because of extraordinary customers like you.

As the season changed, October brought warmth in more ways than one. Our give back supported Safe Haven Foster Shoppe, helping children entering foster care receive personalized placement bags filled with nessities and comfort items. The launch of new Fleece pieces and Interlock: Part 2 added layers of cozy texture to the Aspen Collection.
October also marked an exciting milestone for our team as we welcomed Allexa to the Account Management Department! Her energy and expertise have already made a wonderful impact on our growing CO family.

By November, gratitude surrounded everything we did. We continued our support for United Way and partnered with St. Thomas Athletics to empower young women in academics and athletics. Meanwhile, the final textures of the Aspen Collection arrived with Twill and Chambray. Then came one of our favorite creative moments of the year: the debut of our Holiday Collection with five new prints and three returning favorites. The season of matching moments and cozy celebrations had officially begun.
Black Friday reflected what we love most about this time of year. Families turned to CO to prepare for the holidays with soft, organic outfits made for memory making.
