May Give: Moms for Moms

For our May Give, we are proud to have partnered with the Moms for Moms, a New York City non-profit, to help support single mothers with resources for essential postpartum and newborn essentials.We are proud to donate to the non-profit organization and help their community.​

Moms for Moms is dedicated to assisting single mothers, living in abusive, homeless and low-income situations with critical supplies needed for women after the birth of a child. They supply two care packages: a Newborn Baby Bundle focused on the infant and a Postpartum Recovery Kit for the mother. These packages are designed to help relieve some of the stress and financial burden that can be associated with becoming a mother while also allowing them to fully embrace the joy of motherhood.

Moms for Moms was established in 2014, by Danielle Krupa, while pregnant with her 2nd child. Danielle experienced firsthand how hard her single-mother worked to provide the basic necessities needed to survive. Moms for Moms was founded as a way to support single mothers, mothers like her own, with the critical pre- and post-natal essentials they need and deserve.

Today 1 in 4 children under the age of 18 (approximately 17.4 million) are being raised by single mothers. 45% of them are living below the below line. With the belief that all mothers deserve to be honored and supported during their postpartum experience, Moms for Moms has supplied $750,000+ worth of goods since 2014 and served over 4,500 mothers.
