January Give: TB1Fund
February 01, 2024
/For our January Give, we are proud to have partnered with TB1Fundto help patients and families at M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital focus on recovery by providing items and experiences that not only distract and engage them but also encourage recovery. We are proud to donate to this non-profit organization and help their community.
The TB1Fund was created in 2019, 6 months after a local Minnesota child, Braxton, was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-Cell ALL). Even as a child, Braxton wanted to do something to help give back to other families going through similar diagnoses. With the help of her family and community, they have taken a small idea and turned it into a 501c3 charitable organization that was able to raise over $765K and help over 2,780 people in 2023.

TB1Fund's mission is to brighten days for patients and families at M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital. They are constantly working on new ideas, projects, and partnerships to provide the best possible experiences and offerings. TB1F and Brax are dedicated to making a difference. Being able to provide positive experiences that can immediately affect patients and families is critical to Brax's overall mission.
Coming soon, the TB1Fund is helping patients and families in a whole new way by creating the TB1F Rehab Center at M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital! The TB1F Rehab Center will be a state-of-the-art new facility on the 6th Floor of M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital. This rehab facility will be available for patients of all ages and health issues to improve their physical and mental health.
Brax knows firsthand how important being physically active is during treatment. It will help patients leave their hospital rooms, help with side effects from treatments, improve overall physical health, and make physical challenges more fun. Brax also knows how exercise and physical activity improve mood and mental health, which are key components of recovery.
Colored Organics is happy to have donated $10,000.00 to help fund the development of this Center.
After her diagnosis in 2019, Brax finished treatment in May 2021, but unfortunately, she relapsed in November 2022. She is going through her second round of treatment but is determined to make a difference for patients & families at M Health Masonic Children’s Hospital.
