January Give: Refugee Care Collective

For our January Give, we partnered with Refugee Care Collective to help aid and empower refugees in the Portland, Oregon area as they work to rebuild their lives. We are proud to donate to this incredible organization and assist refugee families that are in the process of resettlement.

Refugee Care Collective is a non-profit organization that comes alongside refugees as they rebuild their lives. Through restart kits, mentorship programs, and emergency relief support, they have served over 4,200 of Oregon's newest neighbors from countries across the world.

Throughout the year, Refugee Care Collective gathers restart kits, plastic tubs filled with household items, to distribute to newly arriving families. They are committed to walking alongside families long-term, and believe these essential items serve as a first step in saying, “You are not alone. We are here for you. You are welcome here."

We are proud to donate our soft, organic cotton clothing to an organization that is dedicated to serving our refugee population as they acclimate to a new environment and a new life. To learn more, donate, or volunteer, visit their website here.

Each month, Colored Organics donates to an organization helping families and children in need. To learn more about our past work, click here
