From sweet snuggles with babe, to honest and hard questions, we're letting you in behind the scenes of some of our favorite CO mamas. Meet Rebekah: a mother of 2 from the west coast with a mission to inspire women to live more intentionally.

Tell us a little about yourself!

I am a mother of 2, wife and homemaker. I love helping other people simplify, declutter and live a more intentional life.

Favorite thing about being a mama?

Watching my babies grow up, learn new things and start to perfect their skills. One of my favorite things to do is bake and make smoothies with my 3.5-year-old.

Aww, so sweet! The hardest thing about being a mom?

No downtime! Mom-ing 24/7

What brings you joy? What does self-care look like for you?

Self-care is washing my face, putting on a cute outfit, blocking out alone time to get things on my to-do list done. (Enneagram 3!)

Love it! How do you make time for yourself and what does that look like?

Once a week my mom takes my 3.5-year-old and I get to spend the day doing ME things, blogging, projects, etc. My 1-year-old is still very easy and sleeps most of the day!

What are some of your favorite activities to do with your kids?

Cooking, baking, cleaning. My 3.5-year-old is VERY helpful and is always wanting to wash a car, or the dog, etc.

Haha, so cute! What mom chore would you forever outsource?

Laundry! FOR SURE!

What advice would you give to an expecting mother?

Relax, you can’t control children, even when they are in the womb! Don’t stress over the perfect crib or the perfect car seat. Instead, research things like circumcision, vaccines, medical interventions, toxins sprayed on clothing, toys, bedding, etc.

What’s your favorite thing about Colored Organics?

I love how basic, simple and stunning all of the colors and fabrics are and of course because they are organic! Conventional children's clothing is sprayed with pesticides, formaldehyde and fire retardants.
