May Feature

During the month of May, we partnered with John R. Oishei Children's Hospital (OCH). OCH is committed to providing the best care for babies, kids, and moms in Western New York and beyond. Colored Organics, is partnering with John R. Oishei Children's Hospital, by donating hats and bodysuits for the NICU floor.

OCH, first known as the Children's Hospital of Buffalo, first began in May of 1892, when the two-story brick hospital opened that September it had a 12 patient capacity. Back then, children’s wards and children’s hospitals were unheard of, and Dr. Mahlon Bainbridge Folwell started the hospital, along with help from Mrs. Gibson T. Williams and her daughter Miss Martha Tenney Williams, with the belief that hospitalized children would be better treated and cared for in hospitals tailored to them.

Today, OCH continues to build on the rich history of Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo with countless “medical firsts” in its future and a lasting culture of excellence and compassion for the children of their region. It's currently 12 stories high, with 185 inpatient beds and 64 NICU beds, the largest in NICU in WNY. We're so honored to be partnering with OCH and providing baby clothing for those in need in the NICU.
