Motherhood is a journey as unique as you are, so it can often feel like you're doing it alone. Here at Colored Organics, we love to unite you, even if it's only virtually, to share some wisdom and camaraderie on the rollercoaster journey of parenting. We are so excited to share some insights on motherhood from Illinois-based mama Jeanie!

TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF!

I am a first-time mom who is thriving in this new season of motherhood! For work, I own and operate an events/floral company with my best friend here in Illinois! I also love spending time traveling with my sweet family and sharing bits of our lives online.

WHAT'S THE MOST REWARDING PART OF BEING A PARENT?

The never-ending hugs, smiles, and love they give you all day, every day!!! They always choose you, and your heart always melts!

WHAT IS THE MOST SURPRISING THING ABOUT PARENTHOOD?

It just keeps getting BETTER!!

WHAT DOES SELF-CARE LOOK LIKE TO YOU?

Starting each day with 10 minutes to get ready in the morning and ending with 10 minutes of self-care before bed. A trip to the nail salon can also cure all!

WHAT CHORE WOULD YOU FOREVER OUTSOURCE?

A cleaning service! Hands down!! The feeling of coming home to a freshly cleaned house is almost unmatched! 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF COLORED ORGANICS?

Not only does Colored Organics always have adorable clothing options for both boys and girls (which is hard to find), but I also love that the clothing items are made of organic materials, they are hypoallergenic, and the company is female-founded!

Having peace of mind as a parent is huge, and knowing that we can trust Colored Organics’ company and brand as a whole is THE BEST!

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO AN EXPECTING MAMA?

Once your baby gets here, your new life will be easier than you think! Being pregnant was much harder for me than going through the newborn stage! Time will flash before your eyes! Take each piece of advice with a grain of salt, as it seems everyone has an opinion once you become a mom! Lastly, trust your gut and research everything!
